Part-Time Opportunity for Technical AV/Zoom Support
Ḵunéix̱ Hídi Northern Light United Church is seeking individuals to provide technical support for Sunday morning worship services. Each Sunday, one person will provide sound/video support by operating the cameras and microphones both in the church and through Zoom. Another person will serve as the Zoom host by operating the Zoom feed and performing host functions such as admitting participants, muting and unmuting participants, and recording the service. Opportunities will also be available occasionally for other events held at the church in addition to Sunday mornings.
Training will be provided for use of the equipment and software required for the sound, video, and Zoom functions. Applicants must have the ability to quickly learn and master the specific equipment and software used. Applicants must also be able to work cooperatively with the church pastor, staff, and volunteers.
Applicants must be available on Sunday mornings beginning ½ hour before the service starts until the service has completed (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours). Services start at 10:00 AM on Sunday, $25 per hour for any additional events.

Summer Lunch Coordinator needed
If you enjoy spending time with kids and want to help provide a hot lunch this summer, this job is for you!
KHNLUC will be providing a Summer Lunch program for children at Geneva Woods Housing Complex in Douglas, Monday through Friday, from June 1 through August 7, 2026 (tentative dates). We will be hiring a Summer Lunch Coordinator to oversee the program. This is a temporary, part-time position of approximately 25 hours per week and will include occasional hours for orientation, preparation and follow up paperwork. Pay is $25 per hour, depending on experience, plus mileage reimbursement. Minimum requirements: 18 years of age, valid driver’s license and personal vehicle, background check, food handler card, and completion of safe sanctuary and civil rights training (online, provided by KHNLUC).
Responsibilities include coordinating the Summer Lunch program with the help of volunteers. Additional duties include planning and shopping for food, assuring food safety requirements are being followed, and maintaining required paperwork. The Summer Lunch Coordinator will organize and help with food prep and cooking following recipes and a food plan, transport meals to Geneva Woods and be onsite during food service, clean up after lunch and interact with the children with occasional games or activities.
